Created over 60 years ago in the U.K, TACK Training International has become one of the leading global training consultancies with a presence in 44 countries. We operate in more than 30 languages, benefiting from a network of several hundreds of highly qualified and experienced trainers. Our Mission
Is to make sure course participants reach the highest levels of professional skills and translate their abilities potentials into reality. This is achieved through practical, focused, customized, results-driven training and action-oriented learning. We apply the training directly to the participants’ real life, pratical work-related situations.

Our ethos is to work very closely with our clients, accurately understand their corporate and individual objectives, so as to include, harmonize and cover both during
the training. When composing our training programs, we focus on:

a) the business strategy and objectives
b) the course participants’personal development plans and their priorities

We ensure that the training, mentoring and coaching selected will deliver all the results expected. This is acheived when our highly qualified trainers and coaches, our Project Managers and our Key Account Managers, work closely with you, before, during and after the training.

AMP Training & Coaching Solutions S.A. in Switzerland
Formerly GRI MTC S.A., AMP Training & Coaching Solutions S.A (referred then on as TACK CH), has been the Swiss partner of TACK Training International since 2001.

TACK Training CH provides training and consultancy to major Swiss and International organisations and corporations.

TACK CH specialises in providing tailored solutions to clients’ concerns, meeting clients’ objectives through customized training, consulting and coaching.

Our programs usually start with a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to evaluate the ‘As Is’ skills positions and define the ‘To Be’ skills requirements for each job position, unit, business division and branch. The Gaps between the two positions provide focus, help customize the programs and measure the progress made after training.

We then proceed to plan, design and deliver mid-term training programs, consisting of action-oriented learning applied to the participants’ real life work-related cases.

Our programs are modular and are adapted to include the participants’ personal and specific needs, collected prior to the course.

On option, to sustain and increase the long term results of the training, participants can enter their post-learning objectives into a highly powerful on-line follow-up tool. This system helps monitor and measure continuous skill progress.


TACK’s Accreditations and Awards

  • TACK was the first international training organisation ever to achieve ISO 9001 Quality Assurance accreditation. This was achieved in 1992 and has been maintained ever since. Accreditation is from the British Standards Institute.

  • TACK was the first training organisation ever to achieve the Investors in People award for its own HR and training and development. This was in 1991 and has been maintained ever since. Accreditation is from the UK Government via its awarding body Investors in People Ltd.

  • TACK is the only commercial training organisation to have won two National Training Awards in the UK.

  • TACK is a member of the International Federation of Training Organisations (IFTDO) and of the American Standards of Training and Development (ASTD).


TACK Training’s History, Ownership and Client Relationships
Originally founded by Alfred and George Tack in 1948 as part of a diverse British group. TACK Training became an employee-owned company in 1994 and was then bought in 2003 by The PRC Group.

PRC is a Euro 22 million turnover international training and HR consultancy organisation based in Athens, Greece. It also owns TMI (ex Time Manager International). TACK’s own expertise is complemented by the full resources of PRC and by the global resources of TMI.

For more than 60 years of worldwide operation, TACK Training has dealt with many thousands of different corporations and organisations of all sizes.

TACK was chosen among 650 global suppliers and was entrusted with more than 50% of all of Unilever’s training initiatives across the world.

 

As an example, in 2008. TACK delivered to 8248 Unilever managers 749 training courses in 57 countries, with an average satisfaction score of 94.25% !
TACK Training in Switzerland even scored an average satisfaction rate of 96% ! 

  • Philip Morris International and the Altria Group outsourced the administration of training services for courses delivered through its headquarters to TACK and chose TACK as exclusive provider for the design and delivery for a great deal of their training programs delivered externally. In addition, TACK Switzerland was chosen as one of the preferred suppliers for Executive Coaching, Competencies Coaching and Performance Coaching.

  • DuPont de Nemours has worked with TACK since 1975 and has used TACK to provide over 30 courses, ranging from Management, Personal Development, Communication, Negotiation, Problem Solving, Interpersonal skills, Marketing, as well as Sales and Sales Management to all its European business units for decades. In addition, for many years, all administrative services relating to training, including set-up of training websites on the client’s Intranet system, venue sourcing and billing, were outsourced to TACK.

  • Nestlé Nespresso S.A. TACK Switzerland’s work with Nestlé Nespresso S.A. started with the organisation and delivery of an International Convention. Based on its success, we were entrusted with the design and delivery of a long-term international sales training program using traditional classroom training and e-learning for some 25 different countries, mostly in local languages.

  • DHL has worked with TACK since 1985 and chose TACK as exclusive provider for a portfolio of customised courses for its offices throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific regions.

  • Our business expertise in financial services, coupled with out track-record as training company, has led us to being selected by major international banks and financial services institutes (e.g. Credit Suisse Group (Global), HSBC, Royal Bank of Canada, etc.) as preferred suppliers in sales, management and personal development. 

  • One of the leading international banks in Switzerland entered into a global agreement with TACK Training in Switzerland to meet its high reaching strategic business and training objectives in the areas of sales, management and personal development training across the Group. 
    The areas of services delivered are: Consulting, Coaching, Solution oriented workshops, Conference speaker service, Event management, where related to training mandates.
     

    The training areas covered, both for management and staff from Switzerland and abroad , are: Management Training, Personal Development, Teambuilding, Coaching, Customer Service, Relationship Management, Communication at different levels, Negotiating, Sales Training at different levels.
     

In 2008, TACK Training in Switzerland delivered training to over 600 managers and employees of more than 20 countries. Post-programme satisfaction ratings have reached an outstanding global average of 88%, with some courses exceeding an amazing 94% rate. This reflects the satisfaction of not only the participants but also the key stakeholders of the bank in question. 

  • In addition to large national and multinational companies, we also work with internationally recognised business schools, such as the prestigious London Business School, training MBA students on specific sales and negotiation techniques and strategies.  
  • A sister company of TACK was entrusted with the design and delivery of ALL training programs for the various job functions for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. In all, we wrote and delivered over 1’600 training programs for the 2004 Olympics
